How could you answer the question, "What do you do?"

Posted on Mar 31st, 2009 by Tim : Traveler Tim
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 31, 2009:

I try to constantly be.  I am always trying to do  and that is not as profitable as i would like.   I find myself tired and worn out and I don't want to be define this way.  Recently  I have heard from my family that I am not always joyful another word I would like to say I did.
Peace

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 14, 2009:

numbers are a language of this world that are beautiful to some the way they connect to each other. But I must confess I took a minute to think how i can make this a positive blog and I can't numbers seems to be where I have my most difficulties.  I blame my brother he is a math proffessor so I like to say he took all the numbers skills:)

What if we can't save the world?

Posted on Mar 13th, 2009 by Tim : Traveler Tim
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for March 13, 2009:

The thing is we can't save the world by ourselves.  We must work hard to make a difference were we are but not in a way that is ignorant of what is happening in the big world.  I also think we should be aware of the ying yang principal.  that without pain we cannot have no pain.  Jesus said the poor would always be with us and the Lao Tzu say the ultimate secret is that a good person is a bad persons teacher .  Is maybe our purpose in life not to save the world but to do good?
Namaste

Where is your favorite place to hide?

Posted on Feb 22nd, 2009 by Tim : Traveler Tim
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 22, 2009:

By far my favorite place to hide is a wooded park trails.  When it is warm enough I like to step off the trail and find a place to quietly smoke my pipe.  When it is cold I go to my basement were I have been developing a cave of sorts

What is one thing that there are no words for?

Posted on Feb 20th, 2009 by Tim : Traveler Tim
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 20, 2009:

I seem to get caught in this position all the time when I want to describe things but especially when I want to describe the divine.  How does one describe the divine with words that does not put limitations to the divine?

Who or what would you have the hardest time loving?

Posted on Feb 7th, 2009 by Tim : Traveler Tim
This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 07, 2009:

I have the tendency to like most anyone the biggest hang up I have is judgemental people. Those who think that skin color or sexuality or what people have done in their youth should be held against them.  I would have hard time loving that kind of person it would take an extra measure of grace in me.
